Syd Barrett 1946-2006

Syd Barrett ha muerto, quizá uno de los músicos más míticos de los últimos 40 años. Tal vez, mucha gente ni sepa quién fue este personaje.

Para empezar, sin él, Pink Floyd nunca hubiera existido. En el primer album de Pink Floyd, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", no sólo participó, compuso las letras, la música, y los arreglos cargados de un contenido psicodélico, creativo y experimental, también, antes David Gilmour era el lider vocal y guitarrista de Pink Floyd.

Este escrito que ni a semblanza llega, es una expresión del respeto que en lo personal siento por él y por su trabajo, y citando a Butters, de su "mente maniaca" (lo cual no estoy totalmente de acuerdo).

El resto de Pink Floyd, compuso algunas obras en honor a él, inspirados por él o simplemente basados en él. Por ejemplo:
